10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
What is our Purpose???
- We are His Workmanship - we were Created in Christ Jesus. We are HIS!
- We are Created for good works. We were not made - just for nothing. We are to be doing good works!
- Prepared Beforehand. God had a plan - even before we were born!
- We should walk in our good works. This should be our way of life!
God created us for a purpose -we are planned - we are wanted - we are HIS!!! We are a good creation - after God created man (Genesis) HE said "It was VERY good"!!!
We are to be doing good works - they should be a part of our lifestyle, not just an afterthought. These works do NOT get us to heaven though....
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
But these good works we should be doing in Praise of our Creator!!!
We do have a purpose!!!

And his plan for us was made beforehand...how comforting to know we should just let his plan unfold.
